Rectify is a critically acclaimed thriller series by director Keith Gordon (Dexter, The Killing), written by Oscar winner Ray McKinnon. Daniel Holden was still young when he was sentenced to death for having raped and murdered his girlfriend. After almost 20 years in death row, he is released because new DNA evidence has been found. At that moment he spent his entire adult life behind bars. He does not understand anything about the world in which he suddenly ends up, and that world does not understand him either. His family has a hard time with it and many of his old acquaintances look at him with suspicion. But then Daniel discovers that mistakes were made in the original police investigation.
