Quiet City / Dance Party, USA Blu-ray Movie, Special Features and Extras 

Circle Collective recently recorded new conversations with the filmmakers that you can read about on this set's respective discs. In January 2008 Watchmaker Films released Dance Party, USA and Quiet City on a two-DVD set that contains lots of extras. On the Quiet City DVD (Disc One), there's a director's commentary, with contributions from producers Ben Stambler and Brendan McFadden, and cinematographer Andrew Reed; a cast commentary with Erin Fisher and Chris Lankenau; Joe Swanberg's Quiet City, a short-film prank by the director of LOL; the music of Quiet City featuring clips and interviews with composer Keegan Dewitt; footage from the New York City premiere of Quiet City; and a trailer for Quiet City. On the Dance Party, USA DVD (Disc Two), there's also two commentary tracks: one with the director along with contributions from producers Brendan McFadden and Marc Ripper; a second commentary with cast members Anna Kavan, Cole Pennsinger, Ryan White, and Brendan McFadden (Katz is also present on this track); alternative and extended scenes, with commentary by Katz and editor Zach Clark; and The Lunch Hour, an early short film by Katz, with commentary by him and star/composer Keegan Dewitt. Watchmaker also included essays by film professor Ray Carney and film critic Ray Pride. Circle Collective has only retained the interview with Dewitt, the NYC premiere footage, and trailer for Quiet City from the DVDs.
