Queens of Scream - Triple Feature Blu-ray Movie Review

Mill Creek's latest genre bundle is titled 'Queens of Scream' and includes a trio of unrelated Horror films: 1997's 'I Know What You Did Last Summer,' 2006's remake 'When a Stranger Calls,' and 2007's 'Vacancy.' 'Summer' and 'Vacancy' were previously released by Sony; 'Stranger' has not previously released individually by any studio in the U.S. Curiously, this exact same bundle was released by Mill Creek in 2016 under the title '3 Triple Feature' or 'Horror Triple Feature.' This is presumably a straight repackaging of that release, though I do not own that set and cannot confirm that supposition. No extras are included. The top menu offers only the opportunity to choose one of the three films. Older Sony releases of I Know What You Did Last Summer and Vacancy did include a few extras each.

Queens of Scream - Triple Feature Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation 

Technical qualities range form acceptable to poor across the three films included in this set. No extras are included. Normally a set with such limitations would earn a "skip" recommendation but for anyone looking for any or all of these films would be hard-pressed to turn away at the price point. At time of writing each films averages less than $2, and the quality at the very least reflects that price point. Vacancy and When a Stranger Calls pare particularly decent, the former being the best of the bunch. Recommended.
