Overview

Prodigal Son: The Complete Second Season (2021)

Criminal psychologist Malcolm Bright finds his personal life in disarray after Ainsley's shocking actions in last season's finale. Now he has to "take care" of his sister and protect his mother, Jessica, from a secret that could tear the whole family apart all over again. To distract himself, Malcolm takes on a series of new cases, including a recent beheading in the city, a rash of debutante slayings and the murder of the headmaster of his alma mater, which forces him to face a troubling secret from his past. Meanwhile, Martin returns to Claremont Psychiatric, thrilled to be closer to his family, while Jessica delves into the past for the sake of her tell-all book. Joining the Season 2 cast are Catherine Zeta-Jones, as Claremont's mysterious resident M.D., and Alan Cumming, as a world-famous Europol profiler. Prepare for 13 darkly perverse episodes that explore the roller-coaster life of a serial killer's son.
