I think people forget how massive “Porky’s” was back in 1982, or perhaps they’re trying to forget. The low-budget comedy went from the goof release to a major blockbuster, besting top movie stars and untouchable franchises, enticing audiences with its ribald sense of humor and playful sense of nostalgia. And then 20th Century Fox ruined a good(?) thing with sequels. 1983’s “Porky’s II: The Next Day” and 1985’s “Porky’s Revenge” are combined on this double feature disc from Kino Lorber, giving fans a chance to collect the follow-ups for a single price, while newcomers are provided with a chance to consume two sequel in quick succession, which is an approach I do not recommend, unless you’re really in the mood for running erection gags and habitual teasing among grown men portraying teenagers.

"The Next Day" and "Porky's Revenge" are not qualities offerings, and their Blu-ray debut is a bit of a disappointment, lacking a professional remaster to bring the raunchy efforts to HD in style. However, completists should be happy, with the double feature disc finishing off the "Porky's" viewing experience conveniently.
