Lionsgate is once again partnering with Amazon to offer an exclusive SteelBook edition of a previously released 4K / 1080 package. The disc contents here mimic those found on Lionsgate's wide release of Plane 4K.

On disc supplements are detailed in the above linked review. This is a great looking SteelBook, though I kind of find the surrounding mylar O ring to be
bit comical in terms of what it offers on the front, namely surrounding Gerard Butler with storm imagery that perhaps hilariously reminded of Munch's
The Scream for some reason. This is one SteelBook where I personally actually prefer the imagery on the SteelBook to any
blandishments supposedly offered by an O ring. The front and rear panels offer evocative illustrations of the focal pair of characters set against kind of
pale green and bronze tones (perhaps interestingly in that regard, I specifically mention in the original review how some of the jungle material can look
desaturated). The interior panels offer illustrations depicting an altimeter and speedometer.
As with the original wide release, a digital copy is included.

I was actually kind of pleasantly surprised by Plane when I first watched it and reviewed it a couple of years ago. Fans of the film may want to double dip for this nicely designed SteelBook, and newcomers may want to opt for this version in any case due to the packaging. Recommended.
