Overview

Pittsburgh (1942)

In this rags-to-riches tale of friendship, love and power, beautiful Josie Winters (Marlene Dietrich) inspires coal-mining buddies Cash Evans (Randolph Scott) and Pittsburgh Markham (John Wayne) to better their lots in life. Competing for Josie's affection, the men rapidly climb to the top of their profession. Greed and power struggles soon follow, tearing a rift between the friends that changes all of their lives forever.
