In 1919, the notorious 'Peaky Blinders' are one of Birmingham, England 's most feared criminal gangs, named after their practice of sewing razor blades into the peaks of their caps. Tommy Shelby, a war hero and the brains behind the operation, is eager to safeguard his family's success by making the business legitimate.
