Three out of three ain't bad.

Released to coincide with the UK home video debut of Paddington in Peru (days after the film arrived in US theaters), Studio Canal proudly presents this Paddington 3-Film Collection with all three family adventures in one handy package. You'll also note that this UHD set one-ups America in yet another way, as only Paddington 2 has been released in 4K stateside; the original film may one day get an upgrade, but the jury's still out on whether or not Sony plans the same for the third. Either way, do yourself a favor and indulge in this sleek collection: studio distribution differences would likely prevent a similar US three-pack anyway, and having all 'em in one set is practically irresistible.

This three-disc set ships in a slightly thicker-than-normal hinged keepcase with barebones cover artwork, a matching slipcover, and two insert slips. Bonus features can be found on all three discs and are detailed in their linked reviews. Please note that Paddington 2 features mostly different extras than its US Blu-ray and 4K counterparts.

Paddington: 3-Film Collection 4K Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation 

The three Paddington films may vary in focus a little, but at the very least they're all thoughtful, charming adventures that the whole family can enjoy. Simply put, if you like one you'll probably like them all. That's as good a reason as any to pick up Studio Canal's new 3-Film Collection which offers all three in 4K; this region-free release will prove tempting for US buyers as the original Paddington has yet to reach the format, its sequel looks a little better than on WB's recent domestic UHD, and Paddington in Peru won't be out for several months. A/V merits are all good to outstanding and the bonus features, while somewhat limited, are exclusive to this collection. Highly Recommended.
