One of the best anime films ever made. A beautiful steelbook edition.

One of the most enchanting animated films the medium has ever seen (anime or otherwise), the masterpiece My Neighbor Totoro is essential viewing. From acclaimed writer-director Hayao Miyazaki (Spirted Away, Kiki's Delivery Service), My Neighbor Totoro follows the mis-adventures of two young girls struggling with the hospitalization of their mother. As the magical Totoro shows up, the girls are swept in to magic and for a moment can forget their fears. A beautiful fable, featuring an exquisite score composed by the great Joe Hisaishi (Spirited Away), the film is essential viewing for audiences of all ages. Don't miss it.

My Neighbor Totoro Blu-ray Movie, Special Features and Extras 

The special edition re-release of My Neighbor Totoro is housed in deluxe steelbook packaging. The release looks absolutely gorgeous in hand. The green tint to the steel is phenomenal and has a nice shimmery effect. The iconic image of Totoro emblazoned on the front art is mesmerizing and the jubilant color-scheme seems perfect for the feature-film. The print quality is good and feels quite impressive. There is something remarkably special about the Ghibli steelbook collection line from Gkids. Fans of the film who appreciate steelbook editions will certainly find the design worthwhile. Inside of the package, Gkids have provided the same booklet provided in the standard edition.

My Neighbor Totoro is one of the best films ever made. The animation is extraordinary and the tale is heartwarming and full of hope. Master filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away) crafted one of his finest masterpieces with this gem. The steelbook edition is stunning in hand and is a perfect collectors edition for fans. Highly recommended.
