The difference is sometimes subtle but still appreciable and audiences will like knowing the physical format offers a high-quality viewing experience.

My Hero Academia: Season Seven, Part One Blu-ray Movie, Audio Quality  4.5 of 5

The release includes a selection of lossless audio options: English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 and Japanese Dolby TrueHD 2.0 (with English subtitles). The sound direction by Masafumi Mima (Cardcaptor Sakura, Attack on Titan) is similarly well reproduced. The lossless surround sound option may be somewhat more immersive compared to the standard 2.0 audio but either language option will please fans with an impressively crisp soundstage, clear dialogue, and nice depth. The dialogue reproduction is excellent on either language option. The English subtitles are well-done and are free from egregious spelling or grammatical errors.

One of the cool things about Blu-ray discs is the lossless audio encoding. The Blu-ray disc format offers lossless audio – which can be a huge difference compared to streaming video services. Streaming video services only offer lossy (non-lossless) audio encoding. The audio on streaming is compressed compared to the lossless, uncompressed audio on disc.
