MUTANT X stars John Shea as scientist Adam Kane, the leader of a group of humans who have acquired amazing and deadly powers after being used as unwitting guinea pigs for a corporation's secret genetic experiment. Adam's Mutant X team dedicate themselves to using their powers for secret crime-fighting missions while trying to stop the experiment's mastermind and Adam's former partner, Mason Eckhart from using the project for nefarious ends.
