Reviewed by Martin Liebman May 30, 2020
Warner Brothers and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive action figure release for the animated film 'Mortal Kombat Legends:
Scorpion's Revenge.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below

The movie and figure ship in an oversized box that measures approximately 5.5" wide, 6.75" high, and 1.6" deep. The front box artwork features a clear
display window on the left, showcasing the figure in-packaging. Artwork similar to the retail product appears on the front right. Sides and top are
largely
identical, all depicting the film's title and the sides adding the familiar Mortal Kombat insignia. On the bottom is some legalese and a sticker denoting
the package's limited edition nature. The rear panel contains essentially the same information as the retail slipcover but does feature a slightly different
layout and a couple of minor alterations to the artwork, too, notably the background. Inside the box is the aforementioned retail packaging, complete with embossed slipcover.
The figure measures about 4" in height. It depicts Scorpion in familiar yellow and black attire. The character cannot be posed. He stands rigid and
straight, muscles pumped up and out. He's facing firmly and almost formally forward, legs straight, arms at side, fists clenched. He's not in a fighting
stance, but he could very well transition to one at a moment's notice. He stands on a base that measures approximately 1.5" wide and 1" deep. On the
bottom is a bit of legalese and notice that the figure was manufactured in China.

Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge 4K Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation

The premium price here includes a relatively handsome, but in no way posable, figure. On the review sample the paint job looks good and the single
pose is fine. It'll look nice on an action figure shelf. Shame it couldn't be paired with premium packaging, too, like a SteelBook. Recommended.
