1986—Dr. Kenzo Tenma is a young but brilliant neurosurgeon in residency at Düsseldorf’s prestigious Eisler Memorial Hospital. However, the fresh-faced resident slowly realizes that his superiors value administrative politics more than they do lives. When faced with a moral dilemma on the operating floor, Kenzo throws his career away to save a young boy on death’s door. But just as the doctor is on his way out, a strange series of tragedies suddenly propel his career to new heights… ㅤ Nine years later, a now-seasoned Dr. Tenma saves the life of a petty thief connected to a string of grisly murders. But when his new patient awakens, the good doctor is greeted with a chilling warning: a monster is coming… And it just might be one of his own creation.
