Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (1995-1998)
Mankind has moved into space. Thousands of people live on giant orbiting space colonies called "Sides." However, the Earth Government, which rules the colonies, is unjust and cruel. A group of revolutionaries build five robotic weapons called Gundams and plan to send them to Earth to begin their fight for independence. Piloted by five young men, these Gundams carry the colonists' hopes and dreams of freedom with them as they descend to Earth to begin Operation Meteor! Produced by Hideyuki Tomioka (InuYasha, Turn A Gundam), Masuo Ueda (Cowboy Bebop: The Movie, Escaflowne: The Movie), and Yoshiaki Koizumi (Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Mobile Suit Victory Gundam), Gundam Wing is an anime essential.
Heero Yuy (Mark Hildreth), Trowa Barton (Kirby Morrow), Quatre Rabarba Winner (Brad Swaile), Duo Maxwell (Scott McNeil), and Chang Wufei (Ted Cole) are five young revolutionary Gundam pilots. The heroes of the Gundam Wing anime universe, these characters fight a corrupt Government. “Operation Meteor” ensues as the pilots fight for peace on the colonies.
