Paramount has widely released a UHD SteelBook packaging variant for the 2000 John Woo film 'Mission: Impossible II.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the UHD wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Paramount is releasing all six of the Tom Cruise Mission: Impossible films to UHD SteelBook, and all of them share similar design layout and
aesthetics. The front and rear panels are glossy but not much of a fingerprint magnet, even in some of the darker corners. On the front is an image
collage of characters and key moments from the film, bottom center, with color splashes darting about. At the top center is a large portrait of Cruise's
Ethan Hunt with the (for this film) flowing hair and long cheek scratch. These are all impressively drawn rather than just photoshopped in from stills,
though similar representations are found on the wide release artwork. Just about center is the film's title in white, both written in
full and abbreviated as "M:I." A red "2" also accompanies to designate this as the second film in the series. Tom Cruise's name appears above that in
red. The rear panel features what is essentially a blue and orange stamp of the
IMF (Impossible Mission Force) logo. The color distribution is more chaotic than uniform. A Paramount logo appears bottom center in black. The
spine
is also silver with Tom Cruise's name in red and the film's title in black, along with a "2" designator in red, revealing that this is the second film in the
series. These are adjusted more towards the top than fully centered. A Paramount logo
appears top in black.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs, and a black-on-white IMF circular sticker is also included (the same may be
found in each of the matching six Mission: Impossible SteelBooks). The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features a matte silver background and an image of Ethan Hunt riding a
motorcycle with a splash of orange and red color behind him. He is firmly on the left, and the right panel is a blank silver canvas. The image has the
appearance of being hand-drawn. This same image appears on the front of the SteelBook.

This is a great looking SteelBook, and the entire collection looks wonderful. For fans, this individual SteelBook as part of the larger six volume set is impossible to beat. It's too bad Paramount is not currently releasing them in a SteelBook set as well (something like this) but this one, and all six, come highly recommended!
