Mission: Impossible - Fallout 4K Blu-ray Movie Review
Reviewed by Martin Liebman October 11, 2020Paramount and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive SteelBook release for Tom Cruises 2018 franchise Action film 'Mission: Impossible - Fallout.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout 4K Blu-ray Movie, Special Features and Extras

Tom Cruise's Ethan Hunt, up in the air, themes this SteelBook. The character is in some way off solid ground in every picture. On the front, he's just
leaped
from an airplane, wearing a full oxygen face mask. The plane is behind and above him with a bright sun peeking out from the intersection of its wing
and fuselage. He's top center, arms extend out to the side, legs curled up
behind him. Cruise's name, and the film's title, appear, below him, a bit off center and tilted. The actor's name is in black, the words "Mission:
Impossible" in red, and "Fallout" in dark gray. Bright blue cloudy skies fill the background. The rear panel depicts Hunt clinging to the side of a
helicopter
filling the bottom right quadrant. Another helicopter is giving chase behind, appearing above and to the left of the center axis. A gun is firing.
Mountainous terrain and sky fill the background, darker towards the bottom, lighter at the top. Skydance, TC Productions, and Paramount logos appear
across the bottom. The spine carries over the front panel sky scene. The film's title, with Cruise's name and in the same color scheme as the front,
appears center. A Paramount logo has been placed at the top.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features Ethan Hunt leaping through the air on the left, clouds behind him,
towards a building on the right, the top story or so of which is visible.
Note that the only omission is the booklet entitled Stunts: Raising the Bar. For full coverage of the on-disc supplements, please click here.
Mission: Impossible - Fallout 4K Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation

Paramount and Best Buy previously released this same film on UHD SteelBook in December 2018 which appears to be near identical to this one beyond a shift in front panel artwork and the inclusion of the aforementioned booklet. This iteration is just fine for most anyone arriving late to the party and includes the same first-class UHD presentation as all other releases. Highly recommended.
