Manderlay (2005)
While driving through the American South with her father, a gangster, Grace discovers the Manderlay plantation, a place where slavery still exists well into the 20th century. Grace plans to free the slaves and succeeds with help from a group of criminals, but once freed, the former slaves try to return to the only way of life they have ever known.
