She’s beautiful, smart, goal-oriented, and she just inherited the Cleveland Indians. Unfortunately, she wants to move the franchise to Miami, and a losing season is her only ticket to Florida. So she signs the wildest gang of screwballs that ever spit tobacco. They’re handsome, but they’re hopeless! Her catcher is a washed-up womanizer who struck out in life. Her ace pitcher is a punked-out crazy who struck out with the law. And her third baseman is more concerned fielding endorsements than grounders. Throw in a busload of other misfits and you’ve got yourself a hilarious line-up that’s destined for disaster! Or is it?

Paramount has widely released a UHD SteelBook packaging variant for the 1989 Comedy film 'Major League.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the concurrently released standard packaging issue. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

This SteelBook for Major League is a blue color that reflects the lockers in the Indians' locker room. On the front is a locker design ("vents" on
top, hinges on the left, and the handle on the bottom right). The film's title appears in colorful baseball-style script center. Below is the ritualistic logo
Cerrano paints on the locker with a snake. At the top is a piece of athletic tape with "Cerrano 13" written on it. The rear panel is like the back of the
locker where three still images from the film have been affixed with tape. The spine is the same color with the film's title in very small print, center. A
white Paramount logo appears at the top.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The lone UHD disc is situated on the right on a central hub. The inner print is
a two-panel spread that features the inside of the locker. On the left panel is the other side of the door. The "vents" are seen on the top, and scrawled in
white are the words "is VERY bad to steal Jobu's rum." On the other side is Jobu and the shrine that surrounds him. Also included is a perforated
magnet sheet that includes seven magnets themed after famous moments from the film.

Great SteelBook! It's essentially a look into Pedro Cerrano's locker. It's a great little design that fans are sure to love. It's a shame that the "vents" (or whatever they are) and the hinges on the locker are not more aggressively embossed, but it still looks great. The film's 2160p/Doby Vision video presentation looks wonderful as well, and the included magnet sheet is just icing on the cake. Very highly recommended!
