Sony has widely released a UHD SteelBook packaging variant for the 2025 franchise film 'Karate Kid: Legends.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the UHD wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Sony's SteelBook release of Karate Kid: Legends is busy, but attractive. I'm more of a minimalist type myself, but I do see the allure of the
artist's-rendering styling here. Li Fong ig is obviously front-and-center on the front panel, posed in a fighting stance, with depictions of Mr. Han over his
right shoulder
and Daniel over his left. They stand in front of a bold slivery backdrop, littered with splashes of black and orange ink. The rear panel depicts Li
mid-kick, standing in front of a beautifully rendered circular skyline bathed in orange. Again, splotches of black ink are strewn about. The spine features
the film's title, center, with the words Karate Kid in orange-ish red block and Legends in stylized black. A Columbia logo appears at the
bottom.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features the showdown from the rooftop at film's end: Connor Day on the far
left, Li Fong on the far right, both in a fighting stance and preparing for the final showdown in the Five Boroughs Tournament.

I wish I could report that a better movie awaits inside this SteelBook, but the SteelBook itself is attractive. The UHD video is pristine, the Atmos track is solid, and the supplements are, while a little on the thin side, more than serviceable. Recommended.
