The latest installment of the franchise that began with 1993's smash hit 'Jurassic Park', 2025's 'Jurassic World: Rebirth' arrives on 4K UHD disc in
this SteelBook release courtesy of Universal. The film features an all-new cast of lead characters that includes Scarlett Johansson ('Black Widow', 'The
Phoenician Scheme'), Jonathan Bailey ('Wicked', 'Bridgerton'), and Mahershala Ali ('Green Book', 'House of Cards'). A Blu-ray disc, and a Digital Code
redeemable through Movies Anywhere are also included. Please scroll down to the 'Special Features and Extras' section below for a discussion of the
new SteelBook.

The cover the new Jurassic World: Rebirth 4K SteelBook features Scarlett Johansson's Zora repelling down a cliff and coming face to face with a massive Mutadon (a Pteranodon-Velociraptor hybrid). Waterfalls stream down behind her, and plant life punctuates the grey, rocky surface. Johansson's face and bare arms are clearly visible, standing out in stark contrast from the more drab earth tones that comprise her costume elements and the cliff. As for the Mutadon, its yellowish beak and the bright blue banding on its neck pop nicely. Just above the Mutadon's head, the franchise's logo is debossed into the cover. The spine, which continues the front image, sports the film's title in white letters and is consistent with the font used for the franchise. It's centered on the spine, while Universal's logo sits at the bottom. The back cover finishes the image, with the Mutadon's wing standing out dramatically against the cliff face which vanishes into the distance. Logos for Universal, Amblin, and a copyright statement appear in white in the lower left corner, while a product number is found in the lower right. Skies above the cliff are accentuated with bursts of gunmetal blue. When fully opened, it's an excellent dramatic image. The SteelBook has a glossy finish which is quite striking, but collectors are advised to handle it with appropriate caution and care. Opening the SteelBook, the Digital Code rests under the two tabs on the left side. On the right side, the 4K UHD disc and Blu-ray are stagger-stacked, each on its own hub, with the 4K UHD disc on top. Removing the discs and the Digital Code reveals a panoramic inner print of two of the massive Spinosauruses pursuing Duncan's boat, The Essex, as Zora's team along with the rescued Delgado family race toward the safety of the island. The scene is an early dramatic highlight.

Starting over with a new cast of characters and making a few tweaks to the established formula, Jurassic World: Rebirth delivers the kind of entertainment viewers expect when selecting a film with the word "Jurassic" in its title. Johansson capably shoulders much of the heavy lifting here and is poised to be an action star in her own right outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Both she and the film are never less than entertaining. Bailey and Ali also perform admirably, and hopefully, some mix of the three of them will be on hand for the seemingly inevitable next installment. The addition of a host of new dinosaurs is most welcome, and each is showcased in its own impressive action sequence. Given an excellent 2160p presentation and an immersive, nuanced, and room-shaking Dolby Atmos track, Jurassic World: Rebirth 4K is a fast paced action-adventure film, and the new SteelBook captures the spirit of the film extremely well - both inside and out. This release is strongly recommended to franchise fans and SteelBook collector's alike.
