Jurassic Park III 4K (2001)
Adventure runs wild when renowned palentologist Dr. Alan Grant agrees to accompany a wealthy adventurer and his wife on an aerial tour of Isla Sorna, InGen's former breeding ground for prehistoric creatures. But when they're terrifyingly stranded, Dr. Grant discovers that his hosts are not what they seem, and the island's native inhabitants are smarter, faster, fiercer and more brutal than he ever imagined in this heart-stomping thriller.

Reviewed by Justin Dekker March 15, 2026The final film in the 'Jurassic Park' trilogy, 'Jurassic Park III' returns to 4K UHD disc courtesy of Universal. Previously only available in two multi- disc sets, the Jurassic Park Trilogy: Limited Edition SteelBook 4K, and the Jurassic World: 7-Movie Collection 4K, the latest iteration of the film, with both a Dolby Atmos audio track and a new 2160p presentation with Dolby Vision, is now a standalone release. With a cast that includes William H. Macy ('The Cooler'), and Téa Leoni ('Madam Secretary'), the race is on to find a missing teen on an island filled with dinosaurs. A foil enhanced slipcover, a Blu-ray disc, and a Digital Code redeemable via Movies Anywhere are also included.

Jurassic Park III 4K Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation
While perhaps not the strongest chapter of the franchise in terms of story, the return of Sam Neill is a welcome sight, and William H. Macy and Téa Leoni do their very best to keep the on-screen action as interesting as possible. The dinosaur menace remains as entertaining as ever and the effects hold up well, continuing to be, I suspect, the driving force behind the franchise's popularity. The Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos upgrades are more nuanced and subtle here, but their improvements are appreciated. Fans of the original trilogy, or the franchise as whole, who have been hesitant to pick up one of the previous multi-film sets with the new 4K UHD disc should be pleased, and the new stand-alone release of Jurassic Park III 4K comes highly recommended.
