'Jaws 3' returns in a UHD SteelBook courtesy of Universal. This 1983 film is the second sequel to the 1975 classic. The discs and all on-disc content are identical to the UHD wide release, with this edition including a 4K UHD disc and a Blu-ray disc with the 2D and 3D presentations of the film. To read about the SteelBook, please refer to the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below, and follow the links below for a discussion of the film, the 4K presentation, and the audio track. A Digital Code redeemable through Movies Anywhere is also included.

Universal's Jaws 3 4K + 3D Limited Edition SteelBook's design is very much in keeping with the previous Jaws 2 SteelBook from the
series. The front cover features a swimmer frantically heading for a distant boat as seen from a point of view inside the shark's mouth. Menacing rows
of teeth encircle the image. The film's logo, in large red block letters, resides just above the boat and just below the upper teeth. The reverse side
features a shark fin protruding from the water in a tank at SeaWorld with rows of spectators, still oblivious to the danger, seated in bleachers at the
water's edge. The white spine sports the logo in the same easy-to-read large red book letters. The SteelBook's matte finish has a nice feel and should
resist fingerprints very well.
Opening the SteelBook, the two discs are found on the right side, with each disc being housed on its own offset stacked hub. The 4K disc is on top.
Removing both discs, one can enjoy a panoramic still from the movie of Bess Armstrong and Dennis Quaid working with a killer whale at SeaWorld;
Armstrong is located on the left panel and Quaid is on the right.
The on-disc supplemental material for the 4K UHD disc consists solely of the Theatrical Trailer (1.23). On the 1080p disc, viewers will find the Theatrical
Trailer and the 3D version of the feature film.
The Jaws 3 4K + 3D Limited Edition SteelBook is very well done. The front image conveys the appropriate amount of danger, as does the back, and is in keeping with the established style of the previous entrant in the series of releases. Fans of the franchise who have already acquired the previous two SteelBooks will certainly wish to add this one to their collections as well. Recommended.
