Infini T Force: Farewell, Friend is an action-packed anime feature with CGI animation. The release features animation produced by Digital Frontier (Wolf Children, The Boy and The Beast). The release was distributed by Warner Bros' VIZ Media in North America. Produced by Kazuo Tani (Kingdom, 50 First Kisses), Infini T Force: Farewell, Friend is based on characters by Tatsuo Yoshida.
Gatchaman G-01 (Johnny Yong Bosch) and his crew of warriors in the Science Ninja Team face a new threat as former-mentor, Dr. Nambu (Wally Wingert), turns against them. Fighting alongside Emi Kaido (Cassandra Morris), Tekkaman (Kyle McCarley), Casshan (Landon McDonald), and Polymar (Nicolas Roye), brand new adventures and battles await Gatchaman. Can Gatchaman G-01 defeat his former mentor and save the universe?
The animated film features visual effects by Wei Siong Tan (Jellyfish Eyes, The Cursed), Chuan Yun Pang (The Kid from the Big Apple: Before We Forget, Gantz: 0), and Meng Hee Wee (Resident Evil: Damnation, Death Note: Light Up the New World). The CG animation is a hybrid anime style that showcases a video-game like aesthetic. The visuals are a bit lackluster at times (and can seem a bit choppy) but the over-arching style is still compelling enough to be entertaining.

Time for some action-packed fun!
The music score composed by Yutaka Yamada (One Week Friends, Let's Go Jets) is one of the best elements of the production. The score is action-packed and exciting. The music fits the action well. Throughout the big action set pieces, the score imbues the anime action with a sense of fun. A good effort by Yamada.
The screenplay by Jun Kumagai (Terror in Resonance, Gatchaman Crowds Insight) is entertaining. Despite the script lacking some character depth and storytelling prowess, the story is still fun and can certainly please audiences looking for a good action-packed adventure. The script flows well. It manages to pull one in to the story.
Jun Matsumoto (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Night Raid 1931) capably directs the production. Infini T Force: Farewell, Friend is a fast-paced and entertaining experience. The filmmaking is never perfection but it is enjoyable from start-to-finish. Well worth a watch.

Arriving on Blu-ray from VIZ Media, Infini T Force: Farewell, Friend is presented in 1080p MPEG-4 AVC encoded high definition in the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.78:1 widescreen. The release presents the video-quality with an exceptional aesthetic. Colors are strong and effective during the presentation. There are a few moments of minor banding in some scenes (including the opening). However, Infini T Force: Farewell, Friend is generally a solid encode. Fans will be pleased.

The release includes a selection of audio options: English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound and Japanese DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound (with English subtitles). The surround audio soars with impressive dynamics and details. The crisp resolution of the audio track allows for the nice action-packed fight scenes to take flight with good definition. The music score is similarly well done – adding a sense of adventure to the experience.
Optional DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 stereo is also provided. Additional audio selections: English (with English subtitles) and English (with Songs and Signs).
