Three friends accidentally hit and kill someone while they are driving drunk. They opt not to tell anyone about the murder and, in time, they pretend to forget about it. Their crime comes back to haunt them the following summer when they each start receiving mysterious letters from someone who knows what they've done.

In preparation for the upcoming theatrical release of the new 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' (due in theaters July 18th), Sony is releasing the original 1997 horror film of the same name in striking SteelBook packaging. It boasts the same top tier video and audio as the standard 4K release, along with both discs of supplemental material.

Sony continues its collection of good-looking SteelBooks with I Know What You Did Last Summer. The outer case front cover features the four
mainline cast members (with a splash of bloody red), while the back cover boasts everyone's favorite hook-wielding fisherman. Inside, beneath the disc
tray, is art of the note Jennifer Love Hewitt finds, with a 4K disc (and new extras) and a copy of the original 2008 Blu-ray (with all prior extras). For
added fun, pop in the standard BD just for the now-quaint, throwback how-to videos explaining all the "brand new" features you can access with the
ahem... "latest" BD technology.

Your love of SteelBooks will determine if you need this latest release of I Know What You Did Last Summer. It's the same as the 2022 4K release, down to the inclusion of the wildly dated standard Blu-ray disc. The 4K disc certainly makes it worth your while, and the SteelBook itself is a striking one, with a simple design and attractive photography/graphic design.
