Disney has re-released the fan favorite 'Hocus Pocus' to Blu-ray in a new 'Anniversary Edition' that replaces the original 2012 release. While this new disc carries over the same video and audio presentations, it does add new supplements: a multifaceted picture-in-picture track and a vintage featurette. The add of a new digital copy code is also reason to consider a buy.

This new release of Hocus Pocus contains two new extras. The previous 2012 release was bare-bones, so fans should find these a welcome
add. A Movies Anywhere digital copy code is included with purchase.
Hocus Pocus is a decently fun little movie that has made a return to Blu-ray with plenty of fanfare in the way of numerous store exclusive options, including a very cool Best Buy exclusive SteelBook. On-disc, Disney hasn't jazzed the presentation up all that much, adding a couple of new extras but doing nothing with the video and audio. A 4K remaster and UHD release would have been most welcome. This, or any, of the store exclusive releases (the SteelBook, the Target exclusive, the FYE exclusive, and the Disney Movie Club exclusive) are for hardcore fans of the film only.
