Hell's Paradise: Season 1 Standard Edition Blu-ray Review

The limited edition of Hell's Paradise: Season 1 includes a 64-page art book and 5 art cards. The limited edition booklet is certainly something of considerable value for fans of the series. The booklet comes with an assortment of photos and artwork. The artwork may be worth the purchase alone for fans looking for something extra to flip through after watching the box-set. The booklet is certainly nice, providing a hefty 64 pages of content for fans to look through. This is much nicer than a booklet with only a few pages or less information. For fans wanting something midway between a more premium art book and a standard-insert, the collectors edition provides exactly what fans may be looking for with the 64 page art book.
The limited-edition package is a significantly different packaging presentation. Not only does the limited collectors edition include a rigid art-box with collectables, the package has different artwork altogether – from different key art to unique sleeve artwork inside of the collectable outer- box. The overall effect is a decidedly more "premium" package but it still comes with a standard cardboard stock box- design, something staple to Crunchyroll and inconsistent in durability. Nonetheless, the package looks impressive and collectors may want to opt for the nicer looking package.
The release is a Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack. The first print run of the release includes a slipcover and unique artwork underneath the slipcover. The effect is "dual artwork" and it makes a solid artistic impression. These types of design elements add a lot to the packaging quality. Something worth celebrating about the package design.

Hell's Paradise: Season 1 Standard Edition Blu-ray Review
Even though the standard edition bonus features are lackluster, this is in regards to the on-disc extras only. The bonus physical swag is nicer and fans will be appreciative of the included art book and art cards. These physical supplements add a lot of value to the collector's edition. A premium set for enthusiasts.

Hell's Paradise: Season 1 is a compelling action-adventure. The series has beautiful production merits and plenty to appreciate. There are a lot of worthwhile qualities to the series art style. The limited-edition packaging for Hell's Paradise: Season 1 is unique to the set and different from the standard edition (including the limited o-card and standard artwork). The limited version has different outer- box art and inner sleeve artwork altogether.
The limited edition does not resemble the standard version and for someone wanting "all the art" one would need to buy both editions. For collectors wanting the more "premium" looking version, including a surprisingly impressive 64-page art book inside of the box-set and 5 exclusive collectable art cards. Fans of the series wanting the ultimate box-set may want to consider a purchase.
