Return to rockin' Rydell High for a whole new term! It's 1961, two years after the original Grease gang graduated, and there's a new crop of seniors - and new members of the coolest cliques on campus, the Pink Ladies and T-Birds. Michael Carrington is the new kid in school, but he's been branded a brainiac. Can he fix up an old motorcycle, don a leather jacket, avoid a rumble with the leader of the T-Birds, and win the heart of Pink Lady Stephanie Zinone? He's surely going to try!

Paramount has widely released a Blu-ray SteelBook packaging variant for the 1982 sequel film 'Grease 2.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

The front of the SteelBook features artistic renders of Michael and Stephanie, the former wearing a white t-shirt, the latter in a pink jacket with a black
top. They stand in front of a glossy light blue background with a hint of a white lightning streak visible behind them. On the rear is a rather small image
of the motorcycle and rider moving across left to right; the blue background remains, and the full white lightning strike zips down the center. A
Paramount logo and
legalese in white both appear unobtrusively bottom right. The spine is black with the film's title in microscopic letters center. A Paramount logo appears
at the top and a Blu-ray logo appears at the bottom.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The lone Blu-ray disc is situated on the right on a central hub. The inner print
is a two-panel spread that features the Mystery Biker on the left, reaching out for Stephanie on the right, who is also reaching for him. He is in a brown
jumpsuit,
she is in a white dress. Both sit atop white bikes. Some other bikes fill a cloudy, dreamy, predominantly white and gray backdrop. This is from the song
"(Love Will) Turn Back The Hands of Time" as seen near film's end.
There are no supplements included on the disc.
This is a good looking SteelBook. The artwork on the front is solid, the colors are great, and the inner print is fun. As usual the rear image is a bit uninspired but overall fans should love it! Recommended.
