Paramount has widely released a SteelBook packaging variant for the 1984 horror sequel film 'Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the 2021 release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

The SteelBook, which is glossy and largely black, so it will show some handling fingerprints. The front cover is simple and uses classic poster art
imagery, featuring the famous hockey mask with a knife through the left eye. There's a gash in the top, bloody, and other bits of blood and wear on it.
It is sitting atop a puddle of blood on a black background. The film's title appears in white and blood-red letters bottom center. The rear panel is black
with blood splatter. On top of that is text, in white: "Jason's body has disappeared from the morgue." A Paramount logo and legalese appear bottom in
white. The spine is black with the film's title, center, just as it appears on the front. A Paramount logo appears at the top in white.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The lone UHD disc is situated on the right on a central hub. The inner print is
a two-panel spread that features Jason on the left, about to murder a victim. The image is very deeply red-tinted. The right-hand side feature nothing
but some murky red and black background.

Fans are going to love the simplicity of this SteelBook, especially the front cover. The rear panel is a bit uninspired, as is the interior, but the front is one fans will want to display. The Blu-ray is rock-solid as well.
