In this outing, the renowned British double agent must locate a weapons system known as ATAC, which controls Great Britain's submarines, after it is sunk on a ship in the Ionian Sea. While he must contend with a formidable foe in the villain known as Kristatos, he does have the lovely and talented Melina, the daughter of a scientist killed by Kristatos, on his side. For fans craving their old favorites, Blofeld, Moneypenny and Q all put in appearances. The stunts come fast and furious, most notably a breathtaking race down a ski slope at the film's opening.

20th Century Fox/MGM and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive SteelBook release for Director John Glen's 1981 James Bond film 'For Your Eyes Only.' The disc and digital content appears to be identical to that found in the 2008 wide release. I do not own that version and cannot absolutely verify. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

This is the embodiment of the slick, smooth, shiny, fingerprint magnet SteelBook, the latter of which is only amplified by the dark colors. The front
panel depicts Sir Roger Moore as James Bond, appearing facing forward on the right hand side, pointing his Walther handgun forward from about navel
level. The left
hand side is entirely black. What appears to be water droplets begin to seep in midway across and appear both behind the character yet also define his
skin
elements; the black carries over to form Bond's jacket, necktie, and hair. The film's title appears in white block letters, centered, slightly below the
midline. The familiar "007" text appears below, also in white. The rear panel is essentially a blank black slate with the watery elements appearing in
some density, but still sporadically, on the left. A 20th Century Fox logo and a fair bit of legalese appear bottom left while an MGM logo appears bottom
right of center. The spine carries over the black coloring. The film's title appears in white block letters, center. MGM and 007 logos appear up top while a
Blu-ray logo has been placed at the bottom.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The lone Blu-ray disc is situated on the right in a central hub. The inner print
is very minimalist, offering what amounts to a blank, black slate with large teal colored "007" text at the bottom, only the top half or so of which is
visible.

Aside from the fingerprinting this is a nice SteelBook. The Bond SteelBook releases have always favored simplicity, and this one is no different. The film is OK and the Blu-ray is OK. For die-hard Bond collectors only.
