We know writer/director Pete Walker from his run of horror movies during the 1970s and ‘80s, masterminding titles such as “House of Whipcord,” “Frightmare,” and “The Flesh and Blood Show.” Before Walker took an interest in suspense and bloodshed, he made a living filming naked ladies, trying to establish himself as sexploitation helmer capable of bringing out the best in British women. While profitable, Walker didn’t stick with the subgenre, though two of his earlier works are presented on this Blu-ray, bringing “For Men Only” and “School for Sex” to HD, permitting viewers to explore their askew take on sexuality in detail.

Happily enjoying a career in sexploitation, Walker recalls battles with censorship rules, resulting in "hot" and "soft" versions of "School for Sex," which he surprisingly lists as the worst movie he's ever made.

Make no mistake, "School for Sex" and "For Men Only" aren't good movies. They barely manage to remain in focus for the most part, leaving more satisfying achievements in drama and sexuality impossible to achieve. The double feature is best reserved for Walker fans capable of appreciating the career foundation being poured here, finding the helmer in a saucy mood before he decided to switch directions, moving from undressing characters to killing them.
