In this week's (today's?) installment of the Lionsgate Lottery (™?), the studio has once again seemingly thrown a dart at a list to determine what release gets a 4K release, and which get an additional exclusive SteelBook release. This SteelBook is being offered exclusively at Amazon as opposed to Lionsgate's own Lionsgate Limited boutique etailer. The contents other than packaging match Lionsgate's Flight Risk 4K wide release in standard packaging.

On disc supplements are detailed in the above linked review. The SteelBook offers predominantly blue tones on its outer panels, with a slightly bloodied Mark Wahlberg on the front panel and Michelle Dockery and Topher Grace on the rear. Perhaps somewhat comically, at least for those unused to seeing Wahlberg with his head shaved, the mylar O ring offers a baseball cap covering Wahlberg's bald pate. The back of the O ring has the typical credits and plot summary. The interior panels feature the plane in flight. A digital copy is also included.

Flight Risk has some occasional passing thrilling scenery, but everything on board the plane is increasingly ridiculous. Technical merits are first rate, and the minimal though handsome SteelBook design may appeal to collectors, for anyone who may be considering making a purchase.
