Five Nights at Freddy's: The producers of M3GAN and The Black Phone bring the terrifying horror game phenomenon to life as a blood-chilling film. Recently fired and desperate for work so that he can keep custody of his little sister, Mike agrees to take a position as a night security guard at an abandoned theme restaurant: Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. But Mike soon discovers that nothing at Freddy's is what it seems. Mike's nights at Freddy's will lead him into unexplainable encounters with the supernatural and drag him into the black heart of an unspeakable nightmare. Five Nights at Freddy's 2: One year after the supernatural nightmare at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a shocking new chapter of terror begins when former security guard Mike's sister, Abby, sneaks out in search of her animatronic friends: Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. Reviewed by Justin Dekker February 18, 2026'Five Nights at Freddy's' and 'Five Nights at Freddy's 2', both directed by Emma Tammi and produced by Blumhouse, are found together in the new 'Five Nights At Freddy's: 2-Movie Collection 4K' which arrives on 4K UHD disc courtesy of Universal. Based on the hit video game series of the same name, both films star Josh Hutcherson, Piper Rubio, Elisabeth Lail, and Matthew Lillard. Each film aims to extract horror from a fictional, beloved children's restaurant, arcade, and event space known as "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza". The four disc set, two 4K UHD discs and two Blu-ray discs, are identical to the discs found in the previously issued stand-alone releases. The discs feature great technical specifications, and include a fair selection of on-disc supplements for fans looking for more information about the films and how they were made. A slipcover, and a Digital Code redeemable via Movies anywhere are included.
The first film arrived in 2023 and featured a fully-realized practical set for "Freddy's", the location central to the film, and was also notable for the animatronics, puppets, and full-body costumes that brought the popular video game characters to life. Given a satisfactory conclusion which resolved all necessary plot points in the first film, a sequel arrived in theatres in late 2025, with global box office receipts in excess of $230 million, and falling just a bit shy of the first film's performance, and demonstrating the popularity of the films amongst the movie-going public. The first film sees Hutcherson's Mike grappling with a pivotal event from his childhood as he struggles to raise his sister. Trying to remain financially solvent, he elects to take a job at the titular pizza joint, setting in motion a chain of events which will threaten both him and his sister. The second film picks up a year later. Mike is doing better, but his sister, Abby (Rubio) is struggling. Her journey to reconnect with her animatronic friends will lead her to the original Freddy Fazbear's location, which is home to new surprises and dangers.

The enduring video game franchise has a substantial fanbase, and so far that has translated well to the commercial success of these two films based on the IP. The practical sets continue to amaze, as do the various physical manifestations of Freddy and his cohorts. The casts for both films are solid, and Matthew Lillard is particularly engaging in his villainous turn. For franchise fans who have yet to add these films to their collections, this release from Universal offers a money and space-saving method of addressing that situation, and the set comes recommended.
