Overview

El crimen del padre Amaro (2002)

Newly ordained Padre Amaro arrives to a small town to start serving the church. Young Amaro soon becomes infatuated with sixteen-year-old girl Amelia who teaches catechism to the young children in the town. The film delves into the struggle priests have between desire and obedience. Amaro is plagued with guilt about his feelings for Amelia.
