Paramount has widely released a Blu-ray/UHD SteelBook packaging variant for the 2023 Fantasy film 'Dungeons & Dragons.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the wide release, with this exception that this issue also bundles in the Blu-ray. Paramount's glossy SteelBook will show handling fingerprints in the darker areas. The front panel features the heroes in silhouette at the bottom against a yellow background, which is part of the SteelBook's primary image of a yellow dragon curled around and breathing fire. The film's title appears in red and white text center, just below the midpoint. The rear panel is black save for the "&" symbol from the "Dungeons & Dragons" text, which is itself a dragon, center. The spine is black with the film's title running most of the length. A Paramount log appears at the top.

Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features the band of heroes, again in silhouette, walking across a long horizontal tree branch that extends across the entirety of the left panel. Most of the right side is a dark mass of tree. On the left is some light artwork, including in white a dragon blowing fire. This is the same dragon image seen on the front.

The design is simple, but the end result is effective. I love this SteelBook's look; the rear panel is a bit boring, but everything else looks great. The movie is good enough and the UHD is rock-solid, too. Recommended.
