Disney and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive SteelBook release for Director Tim Burton's live-action adaptation of the classic animated film 'Dumbo.' The set is identical to the wide release in terms of its disc and digital contents. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Dumbo's SteelBook captures the movie's tone quite nicely. The front image has the look of a recreated, vintage, and worn circus promotional
painting, perhaps one that is painted on the side of a train car or wagon. The film's title appears in red, top-center, and the letters are debossed.
Dumbo appears center, flying towards the viewer above a multicolored big-top tent poking out above a "Dreamland" banner and in front of some gray
clouds extending from either side. The primary background is a yellow color with streaks of green extending from a lower focal point. There are some
swirly decorations along the top and bottom. The front is very busy but looks quite nice. The rear side is also busy and also looks like the back of a
train car or wagon. In the center is a door, predominantly red with some bronze-looking hardware, including a lock, around it. The Dumbo "D" appears
center on the
door, and is debossed. There are some additional accents around, such as streaks extending from a ventilation hole with bars at the top and some
more swirly decretive work at the very top. What appear to be thick ropes hang down the left and right sides, above wheels. The front and rear
panels are glossy and smooth and will attract fingerprints, though the color scheme minimizes the more obvious appearance thereof. The spine is a red
color with tonal variations across the range. The film's title appears in blue and red coloring. An UltraHD logo appears at the top and Disney lettering at
the bottom. Extreme top and bottom edges feature what appear to be painted bolts.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features a collage of circus act artwork: elephants piling onto pedestals, lions,
tigers, seals, stampeding horses, trainers, trapeze artists, and more. "Circus of Dreams" text appears in large lettering across the top.

Dumbo's SteelBook is authentic to the film's tone. It's busy and colorful but works very well. "Unique" is always a selling point for collectible packaging artwork, and this one is certainly that. The movie is not perfect but its UHD presentation isn't bad, the audio notwithstanding. Recommended.
