Dredd 4K + 3D Blu-ray Movie, Special Features and Extras

Lionsgate ships Dredd's UHD SteelBook with a transparent plastic slipcover that includes the film's title in light gray top left along with a
"4KUltraHD+Blu-ray+Digital" emblem above. Spines are blank save for UltraHD logos on the bottom. The rear panel includes more printing, including
a color image collage, a plot summary, a critic blurb, tech specs, special features listings, a billing block, legalese, and the like.
The SteelBook proper, which is smooth and glossy and will show handling fingerprints, depicts Dredd on the cover, head facing forward, a scowl on the
mouth that is visible below the visor, and his pistol held up at about a 45 degree angle. It's a close-up portrait and there's not much else to see beyond
the shield on his chest. There's some predominantly red artwork behind and around the character to give the front panel a look of action and
excitement. It's a nice looking bit of art. The rear panel is similarly colored and stylized. Here a roadway can be seen filling the bottom third. Parked in
the middle, at an angle, is Dredd on his motorbike. Above and behind a city skyline and a dark night sky are the words "I Am The Law" in dark red,
bold,
blocky letters. The spine carries over the front image artwork and simply features the film's title in small silver letters center.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on their own hubs on
the left and right hand sides. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features a blend of artwork similar in design to what is seen on the front and
rear exterior panels. It's predominantly red and black. The left hand side features the militaristic eagle-looking logo at the top and a cityscape and the
motorbike at the bottom. On the right is Dredd in front of a few more buildings.

Dredd 4K + 3D Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation

The red dominant look is attractive and the artwork is very well done. Lionsgate always puts out quality SteelBook issues and this one is no different.
The tech specs are solid, as is the movie itself. Recommended.
