Paramount has widely released a UHD SteelBook packaging variant for the 1981 Fantasy film 'Dragonslayer.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

This is a beautiful SteelBook, one that should be the envy of most every other on the market and a design guide for others. The front and rear panels
are entirely made of shades of red and orange with a black background. The front depicts the dragon towering over Galen, whose back is to the viewer,
with a shield in his right hand and the spear in his left. A wall of fire appears before him. The rear panel is comprised of the same color scheme but
features a close-up of the dragon's eye. The spine is black with the film's title in red, center. A Paramount logo, also red, appears at the top. This
release also ships with a slipcover that features classic artwork front and back rather than the usual info dump on the rear. The film's title appears in
yellow on the front and also on the spine. The slipcover-SteelBook combo is certainly rare, especially in the Paramount realm, so it will be interesting to
see if moving forward this is a trend or just the fortunate byproduct of two great artwork options.
Inside, the lone UHD disc is situated on the right on a central hub. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features a black background with red text
on both sides. The left side reads, "In the dark ages, magic was a weapon, love was a mystery, adventure was everywhere..." The right reads, "And
dragons were real."

What a beautiful SteelBook. It's well designed, it makes an impact, and it holds a terrific film and UHD disc. Very highly recommended!
