Detour (2016)

Harper, a seemingly naive law student, obsesses over the thought that his shifty stepfather was involved in the car crash that left his mother comatose. Drowning his suspicions with whiskey, he finds himself conversing with a volatile grifter Johnny and his stripper companion, Cherry.
