Overview

Dear God (1996)

During the holiday season, affable con man Tom Turner is busted after pulling one scam too many, and the judge orders him to get a "real" job. Tom gets a gig at the post office's "dead letter" office, where mail addressed to such figures as Santa, Elvis and God end up. Soon Tom, and later his eccentric co-workers, selflessly help those who have requested The Lord's aid. The crew makes it a very Merry Christmas for lots of needy people -- and helps reform Tom into a law-abiding citizen.
