Disney and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive UHD SteelBook release for Director Craig Gillespie's 2021 film 'Cruella.' The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the 4K wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Disney's SteelBook is not matte but neither is it so glossy as to slip around in the hand or attract plainly visible fingerprints. The gray-dominant front
panel features an extreme close-up revealing the left side of Cruella's face: a piercing green eye is top left and her bright red lips are bottom left. She
has some smears on her face and lip art on her cheek. The film's title appears scrawled in large red letters (with a white "Disney") bottom right. The
rear panel, also dominantly gray, depicts Cruella standing just left of center in a black outfit with red lips stamped on the chest. She is holding three
leashed Dalmatians. Some red streaks appear through the bottom-middle area and her name is lightly scrawled in red, right-center. The spine is black
with some random white speckles and scuffs. The film's title appears in red, center (with "Disney" in white). An UltraHD logo has been placed at the
top.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features mostly black-and-white imagery. On the left is an extreme close-up of
an art render of Cruella's face wearing the mask which says "future." A red full body Cruella silhouette appears somewhat off-center towards the
bottom-left. On the right is another silhouette depicting a figure holding two leashed dogs as if taking part in a fashion show with all the lights and
apparent
glitz in the rest of the frame.

Cruella's SteelBook is unique if it's anything and it's attractively reflective of the fashion wars and clashing personalities that define the movie. The film itself is fine if not unremarkable, which also defines the UHD; the video, audio, and supplemental spread are all fine but hardly standouts in their fields. Recommended.
