Welcome to the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School, a facility dedicated to fostering the best and brightest for the future of Japan. Here, students are given nearly complete freedom—but at a cost. To survive, they've got to get the grades, stay out of trouble, and be the very best, lest they be left with nothing. Kiyotaka Ayanokoji is a quiet, unassuming student who doesn’t seem to excel at anything in particular. Stuck in lowly ranked Class D, he just wants to keep under the radar. But when everyone learns the harsh truth behind the school, he finds himself working to protect his classmates.
