The story of "Cinderella" follows the fortunes of young Ella whose merchant father remarries following the tragic death of her mother. Keen to support her loving father, Ella welcomes her new stepmother Lady Tremaine and her daughters Anastasia and Drizella into the family home. But, when Ella's father suddenly and unexpectedly passes away, she finds herself at the mercy of a jealous and cruel new family. Finally relegated to nothing more than a servant girl covered in ashes, and spitefully renamed Cinderella since she used to work in the cinders, Ella could easily begin to lose hope. Yet, despite the cruelty inflicted upon her, Ella is determined to honor her mother's dying words and to "have courage and be kind." She will not give in to despair nor despise those who abuse her. And then there is the dashing stranger she meets in the woods. Unaware that he is really a prince, not merely an employee at the Palace, Ella finally feels she has met a kindred soul.

Disney and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive SteelBook release of the 2015 live-action film version of 'Cinderella.' The two-disc set is identical to that released widely. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Cinderella's UHD SteelBook is an attractive alternative to the more generic wide release. The front cover features an image of Ella, in her blue
dress, sitting on a swing, looking up to the prince, who is standing behind her left shoulder, looking down at his newly discovered love. A simple, and
not prominent, background of flowers and stone fill the remaining space. The image appears inside a blue border that wraps the entire way around the
front. It's a bit lighter at the top and bottom, giving way to a darker shade at corners and along the left and right edges. The main image is a little
lower than the frame. The film's title, with "Disney"
script above it, is situated at the top, inside the frame and between the ropes holding up Ella's swing. The title proper is embossed. The SteelBook's
rear side features an image of Cinderella's glass slipper. It appears center with an off-image spotlight illuminating it from he top. The blue background
becomes progressively darker away from the shoe. Fine print appears bottom center and bottom right. The spine features the same blue coloring,
lighter in the middle, darker towards the top and bottom. The film's title (with "Disney" text) appear center in a beige color, the same from the front.
An UltraHD logo appears at the top and a Disney logo appears at the bottom. The front and rear sides are smooth and glossy and will attract easily
visible
fingerprints.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features Cinderella on the bottom right, running down the stairs from the
prince's palace after the ball, knowing that the clock is about to strike midnight. The stairs are the dominant feature. Cinderella's horses appear bottom
left.

2015's Cinderella is a robust and very enjoyable live action re-imagining of the classic Disney animated film, and its newly issued UHD SteelBook is one of the more attractive on the market. The inner print work is a little bland, but the front and rear exterior panels are gorgeous. Highly recommended.
