Under enormous stress and risking their lives on a daily basis, the crews are a closely knit family, looking out for each other no matter what happens. Overseen by Battalion Chief Wallace Boden, the team includes Truck leader Matthew Casey, Rescue Squad leader Kelly Severide, paramedics Gabriela Dawson and Leslie Shay, rookie Peter Mills, and seasoned campaigner Christopher Herrmann.
