Charlie's Angels 4K Blu-ray Movie Review
Reviewed by Martin Liebman November 7, 2019
Sony and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive UHD SteelBook release of Director McG's 2000 film 'Charlie's Angels.'
The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras'
section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Sony's SteelBook is of favorable design. No text appears on either the front or rear panels. The front cover does depict a letter "A," almost as if aflame,
against a pink background. The film's three main characters -- Dylan Sanders, Natalie Cook, and Alex Munday -- are seen center in svelte, almost
silhouette poses. They are casting long shadows in front of them, illuminated by a rear positioned light source coming from a sliver center portion
of the "A" letter. There's a thin silver border trim around the front. The rear panel is of various tones of blue, from light to dark. The film's three main
characters are again depicted in martial arts poses in the same order as they appear from left to right on the front. Faces are more plainly visible here
and the character images are much larger. Both front and rear are somewhat metallic and reflective. The panels are smooth and will show some
fingerprints. It's a very nice presentation. The spine is a silver color. The film's title is very large and fills maybe 2/3 of it. A Columbia logo appears at
the bottom.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is, per Sony catalogue norms, a single color, in this case metallic pink. There is no other artwork to be
found.

Charlie's Angels 4K Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation

A passably mindless Action film that is nearly 20 years old has earned a gorgeous UHD presentation and an equally attractive SteelBook. The textless
front and rear panels, and the color schemes and metallic accents, look great. Highly recommended.
