Borderline (1950)

Madeleine Haley is a Los Angeles policewoman who is sent to Mexico in order to infiltrate a drug-smuggling operation. Meanwhile, another hardboiled undercover agent, Johnny McEvoy, has been assigned to the same mission. Menaced by tough syndicate kingpins Pete Richie and his rival Harvey Gumbin, the incognito pair must team up to bring down the criminals, even though they are unaware of each other's true identity.
