Blood-A-Rama Triple Frightmare Blu-ray Movie Review

AFGA has an enormous number of lost films in their collection, but some are beyond the wonders of the restoration process. To work with what they have, the company offers “Blood-A-Rama,” a “Triple Frightmare” Blu-ray release that features 1970’s “Carnival of Blood,” 1972’s “The Night of the Strangler,” and 1974’s “Help Me…I’m Possessed.” A/V quality is far from perfect, but AFGA hopes to set the mood with an extended drive-in event, complete with snipes to return viewers to the days when three horror movies of limited quality on a sizzling summer night was the best entertainment in the world.

AFGA does what it can with the prints used for "Blood-A-Rama," and while supplementary material is light, the drive-in option is enormous amounts of fun, recreating a genre line-up for horror and exhibition fans.
