Disney and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive UHD SteelBook release for the popular 2018 Superhero film 'Black Panther.' This is the third SteelBook release for the film: the first came out in 2018 and the second in 2020. The disc and digital content is identical to that found in the original wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Purple and black colors dominate this new SteelBook's front and rear panels. The front features a Photoshop collage of various key characters from the
film lining the right, while Black Panther himself appears more or less center, from the head to the knees, in black. A black background appears along
the bottom 60% or so of the panel real estate. Top left is a tree with a purple sky behind it. The film's title, with an accompanying Marvel logo, appears
center and just a bit to the left. The rear panel features Black Panther in an action pose bottom left. Again, there is a black nighttime terrain filling more
than half of the SteelBook while a purple night sky appears along the top, with a tree contrasted against the night sky.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features Black Panther, crouched inside a large panther statue mouth on the
left-hand side, looking out over Wakanda, which fills the remainder of the left and right panels.

Third time's the charm? Or a drain on the bank account? Disney has pumped out the third SteelBook for this film in five years, and while it looks fine -- quite nice, in fact, and for my money the nicest of the three -- it's definitely redundant. Those who missed out on previous editions should pick this one up, but only hardcore SteelBook collectors should consider buying it again, after they've already bought it again.
