Disney and Best Buy have collaborated on a store exclusive SteelBook release for the popular Marvel Cinematic Universe film 'Black Panther.' This is the second UHD SteelBook release for the film; the first debuted on May 15, 2018. The disc and digital content is identical to that found in both the linked SteelBook and the general wide release. See the 'Special Features and Extras' section of the review below for more on the SteelBook's look and feel.

Whereas the previous Black Panther SteelBook favored a sole character focus in a more artistic presentation on the front and rear, this one is
all about the group portrait. It's good but dense artwork in something of a classical 80s styling that populates the artwork with characters, locations,
and action. T'Challa
features prominently, top center, above much of the artwork below, which includes a gaggle of support characters, including Okoye and Nakia. Wakanda
appears at the bottom,
seen at distance. A number of golden splotches dot the scene, extending out into a black border that surrounds the primary image; the border is more
solidly defined at the top but merges with the artwork below. The rear panel carries over a dark purple color scheme, itself with some of those splotches
at the top and a marbly look predominantly through the rest. A depiction of the Wakandan throne appears prominently center. Both front and rear
panels are slick and will show fingerprints. The spine takes a different design cue, featuring various shades of yellow. The film's
title in purple lettering appears center. There are streaks running through the top while additional spiking design elements appear at the bottom. An
UltraHD
logo
may be seen at the top. A Marvel Studios logo has been placed at the bottom.
Inside, the digital copy code is tucked underneath the left-hand-side tabs. The two discs, one UHD and one Blu-ray, are situated on the right in
staggered-stacked formation. The inner print is a two-panel spread that features three characters in posed positions in front of the Wakandan skyline.
Okoye and Black Panther, the latter poised and ready to pounce, appear on the left. Nakia is the lone character on the right.

Subjectively speaking, this SteelBook isn't as attractive as the previously issued variant, but both will find homes in film libraries and packaging variant collections. For hardcore SteelBook collectors or those who missed the other SteelBook the first time around.
