The Beyond the Boundary movies were produced following completion of the cult-favorite anime series. The first feature-film, entitled “I'll Be Here: Past” is a re-cut of the original series which provides audiences with a re-cap of events throughout the saga. The second feature-film, entitled “I'll Be Here: Future” is a sequel and follow-up to the original series (with brand new animation and a new storyline with exciting twists and turns).

A fun double-feature bill for series fans.

Beyond the Boundary Movies Double Feature Blu-ray Movie, Overall Score and Recommendation 

The Beyond the Boundary feature-films are a compelling part of the anime franchise narrative. The first feature is a decent re-telling of the first season (with some interesting changes in the pace and presentation of the main series storyline) while the second feature is a much stronger feature-film, providing established fans with plenty of action-packed fun (and surprises). Highly recommended.
